Window regulator motor doesn´t function anymore..

Here's a couple things to look at. I'm thinking the '67 is the same as the '65, but not 100% sure. 1965 Power Window Motor Replacement I have one of these in the rear of my '65 300L and also put one in the front of a friend's '65. If this isn't the correct side, look at the seller's other...

Window regulator motor doesn´t function anymore..

Well looks like I celebrated too soon. Installed the motor, ran fine up and down about 5 times, then stopped. The regulator mechanism is clean and greased, window runs fine by hand. Got the motor out, runs for about 12 seconds, then stopped. I guess this motor might be too old and tired (like...

    We've lost Locumob - Scott.

Wow, always enjoyed catching up with him at Mopar’s in the Park, and considered him as one of the few local to me. And enjoyed poking him on his last minute prep work prior to a show or trip. He was one of the few on here that my wife has actually met, (only once). Any time I would mention him...

    Remember when?

What 5 megabytes of computer data looked like in 1966: 62,500 punched cards, taking four days to load. I also remember the error printouts that were handed to me the next day after submitting my program (on cards)…

    Welcome, Nikemopar

Thank you. If you have photos, I'd love to see them. I own a 1971 Dodge Monaco whose mechanical bits are very similar. I also own a 1972 NYB. You may find the threads I have created for each car useful, for part numbers, photos, and restoration ideas: Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco Meet...

I changed the rear brake wheel cylinders for smaller diameter ones. That helped a lot. My 67 has ceramic disc brake pads and stops very well know. It takes several 60 to 10 stops to heat them up.

Yeah, I read in an original road and track article from back in the day that the brakes also aren’t that good. They tend to overheat, and fade quickly, under hard use. Also the 69 has a cool feature in the headlights. The doors are actually grills that open to expose the headlights and a...

NOT MINE 1970 chrysler 300 convertable

I found a 25-year old photo of the same car taken during the Mid-Atlantic Mopar Meet at the Mason-Dixon Dragway in Boonsboro, MD, back in May 1999 (same options AND same non-OEM antenna are what tipped me off): So now we have the first owner of this DR8 300 'vert as bought new by Ms. Theresa...

    We've lost Locumob - Scott.

I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but like many of the personalities here, I got a "feel" for him, got the impression that we held a lot of the same opinions (at least as it concerns cars) and always keyed on what he had to say. I will miss his voice in the chorus. RIP.

There is an abundance of good info available for the old Toros. But I don't visit them much because the cars are very intuitive. That and they don't need much in the way of improvements. Other than the rear axle hops in a panic stop. But it does help to know what's going on under the dash before...

Where was this Mopar Brochure/Ad Photo shot?

The funny thing is that I think you could fit the cars on the platform, but I agree that it looks like they didn't. Cadillac went even farther and eliminated the East/West tracks altogether and added a parking lot in the wrong spot. That ad is shown here. Vintage Ad: Arriving In Durand, MI...

Goodbye Scott. Really shocked and bummed. Blessed to have met him and hung out when I attended the FCBO shows. Had lots of PM chats too. Great guy and condolences to his family, friends and also everybody here.
