My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

Looking towards putting the hood back on and decided that now would be the best time to scrub it clean so here are a couple of before pics.
I’m hoping I’ll be happy enough with the results that I won’t need to do any painting on it but we’ll see….

Well Matt I hope it doesn't need paint since if it does you'll have to wait until June for it to be warm enough. :poke: :poke: :poke:

Hogwash desert dweller! It’s plenty warm in my finishing room!:icon_fU:

Sometimes all it takes is a little elbow grease and later some ibuprofen…

Still a few punch list items but as of today I was confident enough to put the hood back on.

I had a lot of catch up to do, but Man, you did awesome Work, Matt! Looks really sharp!
The "thanks" marking I did are an appreciating that you took care of some things around the "main work", like painting the Hood Latch Panel and such.
That really helped with the itching inside my head seeing the old, not restored parts around the engine bay. ;)

What engine paint did you use? I'm still looking for the correct shade of torquoise for my engine.

You do great work, love watching progress even when slow it's inspiration to everyone to get out a get at least one thing done as you can. 67 is my favorite year imperial. Beautiful!!
