    Mickey Thompson 440 valve covers

The pictured Mickey Thompson valve covers have had the tubes added to accommodate crankcase breathers and or PCV valve cap although in the picture the tubes look larger than those on stock 1960s valve covers.. The 1960s Chrysler vehicles used a push-in style oil breather cap and/and or PCV...

Torque Converter / Flex Plate Suggestions

FYI, my 1970 Monaco 383 "N" (383/330) car came with the 10.75" torque converter from the factory. Takes 1qt less atf (total) than a car with the larger (normal) torque converter, per Chrysler specs. In an old Chrysler Re-Manufactured Torque Converter listing, they showed the "Street HEMI"...

    stock or offset bushings

I would suggest you look for the Chrysler MasterTech program on front end alignment. It illustrated ONE great thing about Chrysler front end geometry that Ford and GM do not have. Camber change in the corners. At stock settings. In a left hand turn, for example, the outside wheel goes into...

    In car sensor

Does anyone have experience with an in car sensor. Apparently was on AT1 systems. Two wires are connected to the air tube from the aspirator. It looked like a fragile heat affected wire across the tube and connected to the wires, one on each side. I couldn't find it online yet and part...

Torque Converter / Flex Plate Suggestions

The 764 looks more appropriate: The specifications and application listed at their website is better too. They do need to work on the 762 listing. For a flex plate, the smaller 8-cylinder unit with a 10" bolt circle, and mounting lug holes for 5/16" bolts is required. The original Chrysler...

Thank you for the detailed insight! The picture I sent was incorrect. I know it has the 727 and I snapped the first pic that came up. Here is the corrected one. As far as the transmission goes, it is the stock unit for the station wagon, not the one from the cuda.

It´s time for the Slab picture thread

Lads -- The best thing about this car is that it's the virtual twin to the one I had in 1964-1967 (see pic). I special ordered it (426-S, 4-speed, PB, radio delete, Medium Red Metallic with matching interior, but not the vinyl top) and took delivery delivery at about 1:00 PM on Saturday, 11 Nov...

Torque Converter / Flex Plate Suggestions

I am not familiar with TC Remanufacturing, nor their number 762 converter. However, the pictured product listing shows the transmission application as A904. The A904 transmission was never used behind a 383, nor any big block. The A904 was available behind six cylinders and small block V-8s...
