NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler 300L convertible 4 Speed $70,000 Listed a year ago in Phoenix, AZ

I actually went and looked at this car, and took a bunch of pictures for a member here. Had some small cosmetic issues, but nothing too serious. The seller is a small classic car collector/dealer with some nice cars. The 67 Belvedere 2 Dr post Hemi 4-speed was my favorite in his collection.

Is my new build doomed because I bought a flat tappet?

I got the new lifters and most had the exact same type scars. I managed to get the best of 2 sets but I am stressing out about this. This guy had the same brand cam probably same lifters I do.

(Another) 383 2 bbl to 4 bbl conversion thread, anyone got a parts list?

could a guy make sure theres enough intake bolt threads and shim washers under the bracket? I guess for sure you would see issues if you had spacers like 2" and above.

77 Newport (first car). Radiator leak

As all of the OEMs have shifted toward aluminum/plastic composite radiators (which are lighter, take less total coolant, and COOL better than the copper/brass radiators they replaced), the main places to get radiator work done are at the radiator shops which service the over-the-road trucking...

NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler 300L convertible 4 Speed $70,000 Listed a year ago in Phoenix, AZ

That one is nicer, red interior and black paint, but at $79K they'll be sitting on it for a while. These cars should probably be worth that much, but the market for letter 300s is going the other way. Good luck to them both.

How did the factory paint these pieces?

The place where I really noticed the hand painting was on the sides of the hood letters on our '66 Newport. Definitely not "sprayed, masked-perfect".

    Power steering cooler

This is the installation for a mid 60s C body, but it's fairly typical of what's found in later models. The FSM and/or the Part Catalogue should have info.

That's a shame. Still saveable, but very few would take on the effort with better examples to be found. Freakin' dream parts car!

    Windshield compatibility 1971 Newport

I have been planning on getting a couple of these while they are available. Got one recently for a gm . Not great at all but better than what I had and of course way cheaper than chrysler applications

Got us a 1967 New Yorker

I'm looking for deer whistle that attracts deer. We can harvest road kill now. Better get a C body with a perimeter bumper while you can afford one. Those of us that can't afford beef are planning ahead.
