CH23T2C149179 (if I read correctly; it could be CH23T2C145179 CH23T2C145175 or CH23T2C149175 ) is currently for sale on FB in MI (Edit: link). Looks like GY8 Gold Leaf with V1Y gold vinyl top and E3X9 black vinyl-and-cloth split-back bench with center armrest.

The wheels don't worry me, as their immediate resale and replacement by OEM wheels would effectively lower the acquisition cost. The condition of the trunk lid, and the fact that the interior has been replaced, worry me more. From the ad:

"6040 on the dash board, brand new interior, power windows and locks, 22" spoked wheels, two storage tubs of factory molar (sic) parts in the trunk, needs a few things to be an every day driver, carb rebuild and timing set and then a brake line replaced. $5000 firm does run just needs timing set. Possible carb rebuild."

The interior being new would be a selling point for me. Those seats look inviting and I don't have to worry about them coming apart if I drive the car?? Deal.

Trunk lid also no big deal, I have one in stock.

Not a player here, but I'd be interested in a ask minus the wheels (not my first choice). If not possible/agreeable, it would be a discussion point in negotiiation.

From what is observable (i'd have to lay eyes on it first), I see no showstoppers. I too have the pieces in hand to adjust iit to my prefernces quite easily..

I have seen the local add listing, but I don't know the car personally. I would have to take my own wheels and negotiate a lower price without them. I wouldn't even want to be going down the road with that on a trailer and being seen by others. Lol. Price is a little steep though. I would say maybe more like $2500ish and less minus wheels.

The interior alone, if new and correct (which it seems to be based on the photos), is worth $2.5k -- any day, all day.

yup -- all day long, seven days/week, sundays and holidays included.:)

if, minus the wheels, $2,500 got that deal done? i'd send my guys over with cash, a rollback, eyeball/sniff/listen to it good, see whats in the trunk, look at a good title, send me a text/couple pics, and pay that for it in the blink of an eye.

that $# wont get a deal done nor should it. i'd go up to $4 large, minus wheels, and feel ok about it.

again, however, i aint a player here at any price. hope it gets a good home though.
