NOT MINE 1969 Plymouth furry $6,500 Listed 45 weeks ago in Santa Paula, CA

I can't tell if the interior is velour, suede, or just bad taste. Only thing for certain is outlasted most of its brothers and sisters that went to wrecking yard heaven and then the crusher. Amen

NOT MINE Something different - 1931 Chrysler Imperial.

Funny coincidence... I was looking at some older Imperials last night on the web and found this. Walter P. Chrysler's personal '32 Imperial roadster. Note the custom windshield and the fenders. Walter P. Chrysler Jr's 1932 Chrysler Imperial Roadster from Car Collector magazine

    Accelerator pedal pivot bushing?

Ok I think I found it - seems like something turns up when searching accelerator shaft bushing. But can't really find any info or any other sites selling such a bushing. Part number 2264801 - anyone able to find anything about it? Apparently for a 62-64 Dodge 880. Part number 2463747 also seems...

No carpet tape as I don't think that will have the holding power or withstand getting wet. If you want to use something like that, I recommend 3M emblem tape. That's what is used on new cars. Wipe the area and the emblem down with alcohol first and I would cover the back of the emblem and...

Absolutely! No problem. I don’t run the show and will work with it as is. Ignoring these kind of things is prevalent in many sites. It appears to be the norm.

Take one of your letters to NAPA and see if they have a smaller size nut. NAPA also has square black sheet metal fasteners that are slightly bent to act like a spring that push on to the posts. I have had success with these fasteners. Tape won't work. Another option is to use a liberal...

NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler 300L convertible 4 Speed $70,000 Listed a year ago in Phoenix, AZ

Years ago, I had an older car collector tell me that "a car is really only worth what you can sell it for tomorrow". When my oldest son worked selling cars, he told me "There's an *** for every seat". IMHO, both of the 300L convertibles are a bit overpriced. That said, with everything equal...

Replacing engine harness fender tie down clips

I just used black zip ties. I reached in from the fender well, up over the wires and into the other hole, then secured the zip tie from underneath. You can't see the clasp of the ties because they are under the fender. I know this wouldn't fly at Pebble Beach, but I ain't going to Pebble...

    Seat upholstery

Gearhead98, SMS Auto Fabrics will have the OEM stuff, but you may have to take out a second mortgage. Try deadstockautotrim.com they have a lot of original fabrics and vinyl, and reasonable prices. You could also find a color-correct vinyl, and do the seats in vinyl, no cloth. You could find...

Apple is always updating their iOS. I would be the first to admit that I can do a lot better. Whatever the reason, why shun dealing with the issue and/or acknowledging that it’s a problem? Read my comments above about feedback….

Hello everybody! I have loose letters on the hood and trunk of my '66 Newport. Each letter has a pin and a post. The post has small thread cutting nuts which are stripped. I bought new thread cutting nuts but the post are a mess and the new ones don't hold the letters tightly to the car. Will 2...

AR Engineering has several different bracket solutions. Throttle Bracket Kits | AR Engineering The 413/440 tall adjustable one has the pivot for the kickdown linkage. I used that one on my stone age Holley Commander 950 TBI with an M1 single plane. Kevin

Hey Kevin! Really? Interesting! But now that I think on it, I seem to remember seeing that. Regardless - the proper service manual for his car will show its proper arrangement.
