For Sale 15x7 class ll 2 rallye wheel

I only got the Magnum GT wheels. Didn't want the wider 15x8s at the time. A year or so later, I saw them at Mopar Nats for $500.00/set, bare. I just kind of shook my head on a lost opportunity, but they were there next year, too. hehe

For Sale 15x7 class ll 2 rallye wheel

I have a 79 300 wheel and I measured it before my last post, even though I was 99.9% sure it was 15x6. That alloy wheel is similar to a Road Wheel but the slot count differs by 1, and it has a slightly different shape on the center disc. I remember your story of buying those Mag GT and Super...

For Sale 1966 Fury III driver front fender horseshoe trim/molding

I have this piece, and only this piece, for 1966 Fury III. It's a little faded but in fair driver condition. When I put it on a countertop it looks to have a slight tweak in it, or that might fit the shape of the fender? On the back side there are also a couple locations where the...

For Sale 15x7 class ll 2 rallye wheel

Perhaps I erred in the '79 300s coming with a 15x5.5" wide wheel. It could have been a 15x6. Either way, it was too narrow for the GR60x15 tires that went on them. I need to look at a '79 Parts Manual for some verification of that, though. Seems like the "outer section" of the 300 wheel was...

For Sale 15x7 class ll 2 rallye wheel

Tidbits: I've never seen a reference to the Magnum getting the Road Wheel, de-chromed or not. The XE got a special wheel, 'aluminum fascia' would be an appropriate name. The Magnum GT got a 15x7 version of the Super Coupe's 15x8 wheel, both were silver-painted. The 79 300's wheel was indeed 15x6.

I also don't see anyone mention yet that you will have a generator mounting issue if it's a 58-61 B series motor. The generator cars had it mounted to the front of the passenger side exhaust manifold.

    64 Imperial Fires Up

Changed out spark plugs and added new spark plugs wires. Hooked up a $10 electric fuel pump and she runs good! Need to rebuild the carburetor while I'm at it! Too bad I can't upload a nine second video of it running!

    Ads are effectively irritating

And along those lines, There is only so much room on a cell phone screen so many pieces of the website puzzle are not included. A small ad on a phone could take up half a screen where on a laptop or PC may only be a square in the corner.

Not cranky at all lol. Pretty much need a somewhat of a cool head to be a moderator.....I'm not one here though. Problem with using a phone here or on any site is that the screen is way too little for me. I've done some moderating like when at a doctor's office and sitting in the waiting room...

@RKC - here are my shields: Laid over top each other: Traced out, with measurements: I'm a little fuzzy if these are the originals, or if I cut them out of some reinforced rubber sheet material my dad had. The cuts into the center match both shields, just the lower edges have some...

77 Newport (first car). Radiator leak

The modern radiators as described use lateral flow also. That I suspect is the most decisive design improvement for engine cooling, and GM get's the Innovation Prize for designing these first. Tighter tubing spacing helps also, as does the superior structural strength of aluminum. Be this as...
