    1964 Chrysler 300 seat height

Thanks. I’m 6’2” and my wife is 5’5” and she complains about the seat every time she's in it. My dad had Chevy 2 door Super Sports, 63, 65 & 67. I don’t remember having an issue in the front seats. They were tight in the rear seats though.

    1964 Chrysler 300 seat height

Thanks. For such a huge car the cockpit is small. Chrysler must have had some height challenged people designing the interior on these.

Assist light under the hood. How does it work?

On my 1964 Chrysler 300, under the hood is an assist light. You pull it up and out and unwind the cord. All of a sudden it came on and stays on. What is the trick to turn it off? There is some kind of switch above it but it is not connected to the light that I can tell. In the pic I have...

    1964 Chrysler 300 seat height

I have asked this before, but does anyone know how to lower the front split seats on a non-power seat on a 64 Chrysler 300 split seat? I have them out and trying to figure out how to lower them. They are set up for a petite lady, which I'm not. I have lowered them as much as I know how by the...

Front brake bleeders on 1964 Chrysler 300

John, Yes, I know the wheel cylinders, bleeders & hoses were changed as they look new. The previous owner, who bought the car new, was a Chrysler mechanic and changed them sometime before he died 12 years ago. It set for 10 years in a garage after that when I bought it. The brake fluid was...

Front brake bleeders on 1964 Chrysler 300

Thanks, but I cannot get a socket on the bleeder valve, and how can I attach the drain hose if a socket is on the bleeder valve.

Front brake bleeders on 1964 Chrysler 300

I have just bled the rear brakes on my 1963 Chrysler 300 and attempted the fronts. How do you get a wrench on the front bleeders, let alone the drain tube? The steering knuckle won’t let you get a bleeder valve box end wrench on either side. Is there a special bent open end wrench you use? Or a...

WANTED Air Cleaner for Early C Body 4bbl

I'm hunting a stock air cleaner in good condition for a 1964 Chrysler 300, 383cuin, 4bbl Carter. I presume the 1963 - 1965 are the same but can't verify that. Anyone have one for sale? Top is a 1964, bottom is a 1963

    Another,AnotherAnother,Another 1961 FURY

SGT Fury, Re the RCA Record player. How did you get it to play with the Mopar radio? I bought a 1964 Chrysler 300 convertible, all original, but he had “upgraded” the RCA record player to an 8track tape. I had the record player refurbished but can’t figure out how to feed it through the AM...
