While I’m not big on pink I have to agree when you say “period correct”. Like the color often described as “sea foam green”, it just looked right on cars back then.

The only options on my ‘71 are a/c and the passenger side mirror. Seems odd to me to have an expensive option (back then) like a/c and not pop for power brakes. I’m thinking the original owner didn’t order it that way. Probably bought it off the lot instead.
