    1964 361 missing accelerator bushing

    Yes there is a plastic bushing they goes in there to hold it. That is the accelerator linkage. 1960-1964 used that solid linkage. 1965 went to a throttle cable.

    idk if its available in your area but I like Permatex Ultra Copper silicone on manifold to head...very thin coat, don't let it dry, assemble wet...let it thoroughly set up like 24 hrs before starting...it will fill any minor imperfections and if it has nothing to fill it will just squeeze...

    Give this thread a read. Throttle linkage bushing source?? I think the solution was a generic bushing from McMaster Carr. It's worth asking @Sir Dodge alot what the final solution was.
