    Ammeter bypass

Didn’t think about it at the time, I could have emphasized in the videos more, this C-body recall approach as an alternative to the “Shunt wire” (direct alternator to battery) by-pass on other platforms as well that use that same fuse box. Includes ’70-74 E-bodies, ’71-74 B-bodies. A little more...

For Sale 1967- 1968 c body brand new gas tank

I'm definitely interested, would need to weld a sump on it so I can go with an external pump. I'm in the Detroit area though, could you give me a price on shipping it to 48170? Alternatively if you can hold onto it for a bit, I drive to and from Milwaukee a couple times a year and could grab...

Don't part this one. I've seen worse put back together, my vert included. If the metal is good and the HTF parts are there, put it together and join the Ratty C-Body club.

Washer bottle and pump questions, 69 Polara

Cool thx I wonder if the pump I have would work on that bottle, I'm not sure what my car has in it now. Anyone know, judging by the pic?

Washer bottle and pump questions, 69 Polara

No, the pump is attached underneath the reservoir. That is the starter relay next to the reservoir.

Can shocks with springs affect ride height?

I still have a pair which we ran on our '66 Newport until I bought some new rear springs from Springs n Things, with a requested height increase. The Monroe Load Levelizers helped the somewhat tired rear springs on that car, and for the first few months of driving our '68 helped it more, as...

I may be in the minority here, but it would be nice to see this car put back together instead of parting it out.

    Electronic ignition conversion tips

That's a good reason to stay with points. The downside of points is that good condensers are getting harder to find.

    Electronic ignition conversion tips

Get yourself the Pertronix unit and coil, jump out your ballast resistor. Discreet and reliable. Have three cars set up that way and have had no problems.

I had to wrap my head around it, but once I did, I understood. Your wiring diagram helped with that.

Yes on both. Photo attached of my ‘68 Fury’s washer reservoir.

Points are good. Parts left out cost no money and cause no problems.
