I had a Sport Fury GT that got the name "Bob" after an engine builder that had worked on the car years before. A friend started that. That was back in the 70's. I haven't named one since, but my 300L is starting to get referred to as "Miss November" since the 300 club calendar came out.

If it comes naturally, I run with it. I tried to force a name onto my convertible and it just doesn't work so I ditched the idea. Cars don't have to be named, they will name themselves in time.

I've named a few.....have two red trucks (I hate red but not gonna pass up a good deal that run well) and named the 97 2500 diesel Red 1 and the and the 96 Dakota Red 2. Also have a 95 Dakota that's called The Beater because that's all I've done to it since 98 when dad left it to me. Used to...
