    Is this cruise stalk factory?

From the pictures it appears the car was originally equipped with Auto Pilot (see wheel on dash behind stalk control). That would account for the correct assemblage of a factory installation under the hood. My guess: the factory controls on the dash failed and the person before you "McGuyvered"...

Can shocks with springs affect ride height?

One more question, would a firmer riding shock like KYB or Bilstein ride higher than say a base Monroe or Gabriel shock? (Or as high as the ones I have now)?

    64 Imperial Fires Up

Got the new fuel tank and sending unit installed into the Imperial today. I cleaned the bottom side of the trunk and painted it with self etching primer, black paint and under coating. Old tank is probably still good, just needs a good cleaning.

    Electronic ignition conversion tips

Keep in mind that the Mopar factory electronic ignition requires one wire to the "Run" side of the ballast resistor. Everything can be "hidden" if necessary. Mopar or no car!!

    Shocks

I used to use bailing wire to hold the front shocks in their compressed state, having pressed them down with a big screwdriver through the eye meant for the bottom, with the top pressed into a wood block. I used my weight to press the shock down, and would twist the bailing wire when I got it...

Copper foil tape: a good fix for aged circuit boards!

Adhesives can easily be compounded with conductive impurities. I too have stripped wire and soldered that onto a high current circuit board. The foil works better. Remember, even the general purpose stuff meant for stained glass had to bond well with lead solder AND the glass. Nokorode flux...

Copper foil tape: a good fix for aged circuit boards!

I can't get past the fact that current will flow thru the adhesive. I wish I knew of this stuff when I was in the elevator industry. We has traces burn off printed circuit boards many times. We would solder bell wire to make the repair on the damaged copper trace.

Electronic Ignition , Goop leaking out

Neat info on testing them. I know the FBO boxes explicitly say that their ECUs cannot be tested as it may cause permanent damage to the components...but a part of me wonders if that's just to protect intellectual property or trade secret sort of things, basically, I'm wondering if it's possible...
