    Steering wheel position

The earlier cars had the steering coupler/rag joint working like a u-joint putting stress on them, this was the fix. Alan

What is this piece on the firewall?

OK......You have power brakes. I see a hose on your brake booster. It is coming off of the intake Tee. Apparently, as Big John mentioned, the canister at the front is for your AC system. The hose going back thru the firewall is the vacuum for your heater / AC controls. You mentioned your heater...

    We have lost Rip

Too new to have posted with him on this site. But the great thing is as long as you remember him, he still lingers on. Condolences to his family and friends. Sounds like a great guy. My best friend and brother Bob past away a few years ago and he still thumps me on the head and reminds me to...

My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

The right side dumps at the same spot as the LP manifold so that was a piece of cake. I just need to pick up a 2.25” I.D. To use as a coupler.

My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

I got the driver’s side fabbed up. You can see what it was compared to what it is now. A little cleaner. I’m not going to weld it until I get the passenger side to the same point which it kind of already is…

    Steering wheel position

I noticed that on my Imperial, it is something I try to push way back in my brain. I was thinking of trying to straighten with some readjustments. But seeing the steering box in photo has me thinking other wise.

    We have lost Rip

Rip was indeed at the 2022 C-body Show organized by @sixpkrt -- he and I came together. I was in Illinois already, and picked Rip up at Union Station in Chicago. He had taken the train that runs from Washington, DC to Rockville (near his Garage Mahal) to the Windy City, and was ready first thing...

    Steering wheel position

The steering column in a 69 C-Body in not inline with the center of the car, the left side of the steering wheel is closer to the dash than the right. It may be hard to see in this picture but the steering gear points to the side. Alan

WANTED 1969 Dodge Monaco A/C condenser

Thanks a lot a new one is shure great but i patched the A/C system out of used spare parts together, most parts came from a 69 newyorker, so i don't know if it will ever work. To get the R12 here in switzerland is very hard. And for a 134A conversion i don't know if i can keep the stock compressor
