    Tool tips

I use this old can/bottle opener, with some tape added as a cushion, to aid in removal of snap-on roof drip rail molding.

    Tool tips

I used a broken attachment to add a seal removal tool to my slide hammer. I use it for the inner seals in 8-3/4" and Dana 60 axles, but it might be used for some others. The axle seals can often be popped out with an axle shaft, but if stubborn, or just for better handling, I use this. I cut...

    Tool tips

For removing or installing the roll pin from the steering column coupler, without distortion of the pin or tool slippage, I modified an old #3 Philips screwdriver. I ground down a section to be slightly smaller than the pin outer diameter with a step further ground down on the end. The end step...

What are you working on today??

That is a good approach, especially with more complex wring, or running and terminating new wires. I've used similar to some scale in the past for things of mine. In my pasted case, I had the old harness to go by for where to make branches for some wires, and the car sitting right behind me for...

The stock flex plat on a 360 or 318 are the same, the stock TC for a 360 has a weight on it, the 318 does not. If you use the stock 318 TC you need a special 360 (weighted) flex plate. If you are going to spend the money on a rebuild you should get a new TC anyway so just get the 360 one if you...

Yea hopefully it isn't something too catastrophic I mean it sounds really bad when I was driving it so hopefully I can get it fixed. Yea I have the flex plate for the 360, I pulled it out over a motorhome so I held on to it I would've taken the trans aswell but it had the hump on it and wouldn't fit

Join the club! Chrysler 300 Non-Letter group.

Since the group is public, I could see this 1970 300 'vert "Hurst" owned by John Pflugfelder @Big_John -- since you own a 1970 300 'vert and know me, could you possibly reach out to Mr. Pflugfelder and see if he'd share the fender tag of his car? I don't have it in the directory of 1970...

Yeah a sprag is a type of one way clutch or over running clutch. Most guys understand the term one way clutch. In my experience most of the time the sprag doesn't damage the case but it does damage the outer ring of the sprag so a new one will need to be pressed into the case, or better yet pay...

Wil tork thrusters fot my t&c wagon

Agree, there are many variations of "Tork Thrust" American wheels. "Backspacing" might be more understood, as to terminology, than "offset". Although I always liked the "offset" orientation, but in reality, the backspacing of the wheels is more important as to fit. Offset is important as to...

What are you working on today??

When I've done those, I use a piece of plywood and some finishing nails. I've seen this in a few factories where they are assembling a wire harness.
