    1973 Imperial HB1

Interesting. So then perhaps part of the tow package. I have yet to touch this car this winter. As I rummaged through the car last winter/spring I did not find a broadcast sheet under the front seats. I'll research that more and see if I can find one. Perhaps that overflow bottle would...

Hi all, I'm looking for all parts needed to use a manual (non-power/booster) brake pedal. - brake pedal - firewall plate +gasket - pushrod from pedal to MC (- bracket??? Or does the manual pedal also bolts in to the power pedal bracket). Does someone have this laying around from a parts...

Uncle Tony's Garage - EFI vs Carburetor & Heat Riser

Thanks for the info. You have a fuel problem and not a electrical/starter issue it sounds. The fuel is evaporating in the carb because of the heat. I recommend a small low pressure pump near the tank operated with a fused momentary switch. The next time it acts up, take the air cleaner off and...

    Heavy Metal

Pilots nicknamed the B-47 Stratojet "the aluminum overcast" because it was so large, and flying it was notoriously difficult. The aircraft required special training to handle its long, slender wings and demanding flight controls.

I know I'd consider going to another one if we were inclined to have one. Maybe a chance to salute our recently fallen brothers?

    Carlisle 2025

Anyone going to Carlisle this year that lives near or will be going through Minneapolis? I can't go myself, but I'm looking to return a couple brake drums to a vendor that will be there.

Uncle Tony's Garage - EFI vs Carburetor & Heat Riser

They offer block-off valley pan gaskets for the RB engines, and I used one in the '73 440 when I did the intake. I modified it by punching a 1/2" hole on the choke side only. With the exhaust heat riser valve removed, it ran fine, just took longer to warm up. The paint stayed nice on the intake...

The Vaanth Thermo-Quad Guide, re-written and updated.

Hello, When I joined in September last year, and introduced myself in the Welcome Wagon forum, I mentioned my updated Thermo-Quad guide. I wanted to add it to a fuel system related forum as an FYI, and this is the closest here on FCBO. I also posted a similar message earlier on FABO, FBBO, and...

Uncle Tony's Garage - EFI vs Carburetor & Heat Riser

I have never had a problem with heat passage delete. When I worked in the dealer parts dept way way back early 80s, the cop cars intake gasket heat passage was blocked. The top gasket.

    1973 Imperial HB1

I have seen it in the parts book, maybe part of a towing package. I have wanted one for my Imperial, just cuz, more stuff. I have not had my rad puke, but would nice to catch it if it did, A bit unbecoming of a Tux Imperial leaving unsightly drool on the drive way at the estate.
