When I bought the Dodge it was bone stock - except for induction - electronic ignition - facet pump.
Previous owner of 7 years installed the edelbrock intake and a Barry grant race demon carb after originals were stolen !
Near impossible to drive - lumpy as hell to 40 mph - then it took off.

Struggled to load photos last night........
But here goes.
English countryside also featured !!
I love my Dodge - too many doors for a lot of folks in the UK - but i have always liked 4 door hardtops.
Clocked up a couple of hundred miles over the weekend in the sunshine.

Pulled the Dodge out of storage yesterday and drove it for first time in 10months.......
Drama as (facet) fuel pump died - luckily just before I got onto 'rush hour' motorway.
Luckily a mate towed me to safety and a few calls later a local car restorer loaned a facet from customers jag and saved...
Looked at exact same colour combo car only 5 miles from me......(rare in uk)
25k from new.....unfortunately the shed it had been stored in for 20 years leaked and rear quarters / pillar rotted right through and white leather interior 'green n crispy'
mark.
Worth a shot for peace of mind (I also changed original temp sensor prior)
I fitted new gauge sender in place of blank plug near stat so totally independent of old gauge.
mark.
Nothing worse for stress levels than a climbing temp gauge....
Drive home when I bought the Dodge involved 30 miles nose to tail traffic with temp needle almost on the peg....
I replaced rad cap / stat / w.pump / re cored rad / (leaking) core plugs....still had intermittent problem.
Changed head...
Hi all,
I have owned my 1965 Dodge custom 880 hardtop for 5 years.
Originally owned by 'Commander' Victor B Graff from Millbrae (I think from new) until imported a few years back.
I also owned a 1971 Plymouth fury III in the 1980's.
