Pulled the Dodge out of storage yesterday and drove it for first time in 10months.......
Drama as (facet) fuel pump died - luckily just before I got onto 'rush hour' motorway.
Luckily a mate towed me to safety and a few calls later a local car restorer loaned a facet from customers jag and saved the day.
Today - suns shining - I have been cleaning and polishing all afternoon.
I will take s few pictures and post over weekend....when I stop driving it !

Struggled to load photos last night........
But here goes.
English countryside also featured !!
I love my Dodge - too many doors for a lot of folks in the UK - but i have always liked 4 door hardtops.
Clocked up a couple of hundred miles over the weekend in the sunshine.

When I bought the Dodge it was bone stock - except for induction - electronic ignition - facet pump.
Previous owner of 7 years installed the edelbrock intake and a Barry grant race demon carb after originals were stolen !
Near impossible to drive - lumpy as hell to 40 mph - then it took off.
I have installed new Edelbrock 4 barrel and it is transformed.
I sprayed rocker covers black when doing valve job and head gaskets 3 years ago when i couldn't source correct colour.
Ideally would finish - engine - intake - covers in original turquoise and fit a black steel air cleaner housing (I have original air cleaner but too small - originally 2 barrel)
The chrome magnums were originally on a 66 mustang until the owner changed to 20'' rims!!
I had to have them as (to me) they suit the car and look period.

Wow, nice clean car! That's the color my 66 is originally, always wondered what it looked like on the whole car. Welcome to the site!
