Those residual pressure valves are available, but maybe only for GM master cylinders? Seems that those people have been the ones looking for and finding them? Why do you need one? What vehicle? Just curious. CBODY67

    67 Fury front suspension rebuild

Are you talking about the adjusting nut? Or where the torsion bar actually goes through it? Maybe I'm missing something but the only attaching points are where the torsion bar sits, and where it connects to the spindle. I did see that, don't have easy access to a machine shop so I might try...

1966 Polara 880: The Build So Far, or "Bring Money".

You are correct - there is a difference between USA and Canadian full size Dodge stubs with how the torsion bars work - bar length is different - however, I believe the US/Canadian stubs are interchangeable, but DO NOT take my word for it. If you're at all worried about it, I would think you...

Front drum separating the hub - looking for info / advice

If by chance you are getting rid of the LH threads just whack the studs till the hub falls out. Then press in new studs. I never did swedge my new studs after the fact. Now I can check and adjust my frt drum brakes by just slidibg off the drum.

Does anyone know if he's still operating? I've heard for years that he's unresponsive and that he never ships what you order from him. I've heard from a few people that he's been unresponsive for months and still has their brake parts. I have to order some brake parts, but I'm worried nobody's...

I need help with info about VIN/ ID / model of my 1968 Chrysler 300

I know of a Belvidere 70 Monaco 4dr built for Canadian specs and does have Fury III seats and door panels. This " Plodge" arrangement died in 71 model year since it was no longer necessary and no longer cost effective. Windsor continued to build Plymouths and Dodges for Canada. Windsor also...

Is the ‘Certicard’ in the engine bay common?

Not as much worried about theft as I am with further deterioration, though pettier things have been swiped before. One corner is corroded to where part of it is missing. I don't want more of it to disappear by retaining moisture or something. This way, it's safe in the folder with all the...

I need help with info about VIN/ ID / model of my 1968 Chrysler 300

You speak of the Chrysler models - saying that none of them were made in Windsor? But what about Dodge and Plymouth? Even in '67 there were interesting differences between US and Canadian Monaco's. But if all Chrysler's were built in the US, then presumably there were no such differences...

Is the ‘Certicard’ in the engine bay common?

Why would anyone want to steal a Certicard? Worthless to anyone. Just provenance to the car and current owner.

    Looking to build a 1972 LA360

Hey how’s it going. Like where you’re going (heading ? LoL) with this. I’ve had multiple, well I guess all my big cars 340 powered except my current 69 fury. It’s 318 and will remain a 318. Big part of making a small block car work is unbolting all the extra weight you can and run at least...

I need help with info about VIN/ ID / model of my 1968 Chrysler 300

As part of the 1965 Autopact Agreement, All Chrysler models ( Newport Newport Custom, 300, New Yorker) were built in the U.S. starting in the 1967 model year since import tarriffs were lifted on US built cars coming into Canada. Late June 1966 saw the last Chrysler roll off the Windsor line and...

I need help with info about VIN/ ID / model of my 1968 Chrysler 300

Hey, why doesn't this car have front disk brakes? I thought it was "the law" in Canada that anything with a 440 had to have them?

I found the same thing for Q9 as well, but my '68 300 has that code with no Sentinel Lighting. This is how mine decoded: b5 Folding arm rest (buddy seat), order code 485 h7 Fender mounted turn signal indicators u1 Sold car when built (someone ordered it)...

Q9 is Sentinel Lighting? Would there have been a reason why this car wasn't built in Windsor - for sale in Canada?

1966 Polara 880: The Build So Far, or "Bring Money".

Yeah, i had to cut one of the tapered ones. Fun. Blue is an 880 and has the Monaco trim. The shop manual implies all 880s should have the monaco trim and lights at least. '66 was the last year for the 880 badge in Canada, it was already replaced by Monaco in the US. I made most of the stuff...

Front drum separating the hub - looking for info / advice

You've removed the swaged over portion. That's exactly what you want. Now they should just press out. Put a block of wood under the hub and a nut on the stud and give it a quick rap with a hammer. If that doesn't knock it loose in one or two hits, it will need to be pressed out.

Front drum separating the hub - looking for info / advice

I want to separate / remove the drums from my front hubs, I'm using a 5/8 hole saw. So far this is where I am: How exactly does this process go? Am I supposed to drill deeper? Do these studs have a shoulder? I don't want to drill into that if it has a shoulder. Seems like these were...
