    Power steering pumps

Guys, I'm looking at installing a CVF serpentine belt system on my '68 Newport when the new 440 gets installed. From what I have read so far, I need to convert over to a Saginaw power steering pump from the TRW style it has now. I've heard the hoses are different and that I'll need new ones or...

Dual belt alternator pulley set up

It would appear the only way to get a dual belt setup for the alternator is with a a/c compressor mounted to get the belts mounted high enough?

Dual belt alternator pulley set up

Guys, I'm currently running a single belt for my alternator on the 440 in my '68 Newport with power steering but without a/c. My electric cooling fan(Mercedes) draws enough current to cause the alternator belt to squeal loudly in protest. Belts adjusted correctly, but I know I need to go to a...

I'm sure, it's running too rich now, and even worse with a 1500' raise in altitude.

Cold Case is here to help

I was turning about 2100-3200 RPM at the time on the freeway. It did this before the electric fan install. The fan seems to have solved the running warm problem at low speeds durings cruises, parades, etc. Now I await a new Cold Case rad as the shop who did the fan gouged my radiator and...

Cold Case is here to help

Well, this in 100 plus weather on the freeway at about 80 mph. The Mercedes fan really helps in low speed now, just can't keep my foot in it on the freeway which is how it was before the fan change.
