For Sale 1971 Chrysler New Yorker front bumper NICE! Triple Pickle car

I'm sure it was at some point. By the time I acquired it, the engine and transmission were quite worn out. Both were rebuilt and installed in another car, along with the driveline and 8.75 rear end. The headliiner had fallen down and the seats needed to be redone. While the body parts are...

For Sale 1971 Chrysler New Yorker mostly complete AC set up - Triple Pickle car

1971 Chrysler New Yorker 440 mostly complete AC set up: compressor, condenser, receiver dryer tank, and some hoses. The AC worked - but not very well - before it was pulled. Should plan on rebuilding the compressor, and be very pleasantly surprised if you don't need to. The compressor does...

    1969 Imperial progress thread

If I may say. I stay away from the comp roller lifters, I had two bad sets out of the box. I went with the Hughes retro fit rollers, Howards is a good supplier as well. I have not had any problems with Howards so far. The 440 source heads are a good selection and as the name says they have a...

    67/68 Fury Tight fit

I have a thread on here about it. It's actually not as hard as I thought it would be. The hardest and most daunting bit is cutting off the bellhousing for the JW bellhousing.

    Low Compression 440 Build Questions

Agree with everyone, figure out how much you want to spend, what your goals are, and what you want to reuse from the current engine. If it's a good running 440 that doesn't need a rebuild right now, I'd swap the camshaft and put a set of closed chamber heads on it. You can also mill the heads...

    67/68 Fury Tight fit

How much work has it been to put the 46RH in there? The trans tunnel and subframe crossmember doesn't seem like it lends itself to trans swaps in our cars.

    Cheap Aluminum Radiatores

I've installed 2 cheap aluminum radiators that did not fit at all, but with a little grafting and fabricating they fit and work. I put a radiator for a mustang in my slant 6 Aspen and a radiator for a b-body in my c-body Gran Fury and all it took was some metal plates to connect the flange to...

    1969 Imperial progress thread

I dropped the engine off at the machine shop on Friday, today they already started working on it. First step after an initial assessment of all the parts was to check the Crankshaft. Other then minor straightening it just needed a good polishing. The dings you see are there from the factory...

66 Newport Rear Drum Brakes Shoe Size

You should just pull the rear drum and measure the width, that way you know the correct size as noted. As noted, some Canadian produced cars had 11' x 2" rear brakes, most of the rest were 11" x 2.5". The best way to know for sure is to visually check. Measure the shoe, not the drum. Dave

We grow up, we get married, we have kids....poor guy

I had a 1972 Barracuda that I bought new when my son was born. I never saw a reason to sell it. I still have it. I never understood how much crap people have to drag around for one little kid. A lot of kids, that is a different story.
