Thanks Tim, by the way way I am down in Franklin TN right now now visiting my daughter. I am enjoying the high 60’s and low 70’s. A nice break from Fargo weather. My wife thinks we should find a rental for a month or two next winter down here. But am heading back to the cold and snow Tuesday...
I got the trans for $100 and $300 for the rebuild thru a friend. Actually looked older than my original but no idea what year. I checked the trans and recheck the switch once I get it out. Don't know if I had lights after that. My son noticed one day the lights didn't work.
I am just starting my electrical plan. I am also questioning the power of these lights reflected to the ground. The Hyperlite site has the ufo and 4 ft lights. They also provide recommendations on lighting if you provide your plan outline and ceiling heights. I only sent it yesterday, so will...
I had florescent lighting in my current shop but updated them to LED, and the place is much brighter. I too, need better lighting as I get older.
LED lights are the way to go IMO.
It will most likely make some difference whether or not you have any windows on your build.

Just kind of spitting in the wind here ... but when you pulled the neutral safety switch did you notice if the plastic end deal was in place on the rooster comb? Seems like you are zero'd in on an internal transmission issue

Probably has the wrong rooster comb on the valve body. Should look like the one on the right in this pic. Any idea what year the trans is? Gotta be 1969 and up.
If you take the switch out, you may be able to see if it has the correct rooster comb.
So I don't know anything about those lights, but I did look at the website. Looks like they are 6800K - I would personally never go above 5000K.
I am not a lighting expert, but I did learn enough to be dangerous as an engineer in the industrial world. I lived through the transformation from...
Different plants coded differently. What was coded and how it was coded changes year to year and plant to plant.
That era of Jefferson and Lynch Road tags are not alphabetical as the other plants are.
If you look at the design from the light vendor, you can see that he designed it with no lights under the lift. He felt it would have been ok, but at the end of the the day I trumped his design and added the lights over the lift. I think at first I thought the lift would be taller than it is.
