oem style or modern or no difference

I agree with CBODY67, a 180° is a good choice. DON'T buy a cheap one and always test in in a pan of water on the stove with a thermometer before installing.

    Origin Unreachable

I had it happen more than a few times. As long as the site comes back quickly and the warning goes away, I don't consider it a big deal. If a screen takes too long to change for whatever reason, you may get a warning screen. There's a lot that happens between FCBO's server and your computer...

    Mickey Thompson 440 valve covers

They are for push on breather caps. I have never seen tubes like that. Probably to keep oil splash out of the breathers. (that's what oil deflectors are for on the inside) One cover already has a hole punched for either oil fill or a pcv with a grommet.

    AVS2 650 CFM on a 383-2, tuning help needed

when you have a hot soak restart issue, do a little diagnosis if you can. Look down the carb and see if it has fuel. If it doesn't have a steady stream from the accelerator pump nozzles, your percolation issue is real. I have heard fuel actually boiling inside the carb when I shut it off hot. It...

Jumper the + side of the ballast to battery positive and see if it starts. Check your install instructions carefully. What is the resistance reading of your ballast resistor. Should be around .8.

Other fuel pump options for '57 Dodge 325 Poly

If I was that concerned, I would buy a pump, install it weeks before your trip and drive the car to make sure it's ok. Keep the old known good pump as a back up. Or you could install a pump like these and not use it unless the mechanical pump fails. Double check but they are a vein pump and fuel...
