    Seat covers - 67-300

Had SMS make bucket seat covers and 2nd & 3rd seats covers for my 71 GMC suburban 4x4 . All proper stitching and scroll work. They are perfect. Took about 3 -4 months. Well worth the wait.

    73 Disc Brake Spindles

Thanks Jeff. That kinda reinforces the idea I should just rebuild these factory calipers then. Hopefully the bores aren't rusted & pitted.

Advice needed: What to look for when buying a Fusie?

Take it for a drive and then place a sheet of cardboard below the engine and transmission and see if it leaks. If you test drive in the winter, turn on the heat and see if it fogs up the windshield (indicates damaged or bad heater core).

    Rebuilding a 440

Increase your compression ratio by installing taller deck height pistons. The 906 cyl heads work well so simple valve job W/ new springs will serve you well. Use a Melling SP11 camshaft kit. A Melling high pressure pump. For a carb w/ good reliability go w/ a Edelbrock 1411 rated at 750 cfm...

    73 Disc Brake Spindles

They were reproducing the '69-'72 splash shields a couple years ago. I would check the Vans Auto website to see if they're still available. I've found that many of the Chinese repop calipers are no good right out of the box. You have to rebuild them with name brand seals to get them to work...

    Rebuilding a 440

Thanks for the help so far. Engine and transmission are a 75' model year C body 440. When rebuilding this engine what are improvements that I can make to increase power/torque without sacrificing drivability? Car has AC and a 3:21 open rear. Eventually plan on converting over to FI. Port...

Is this exhaust manifold junk ?

You need to watch the outlet size on the left c body hp manifolds as there are 2 sizes. One is not quite 2 1/4”(very common),and the other is 2 1/2”(not very common). I think the smaller came on 383 and standard 440s and the big one came on 440 TNT engines Travis..

Opinion on 6-ton shop press for installing rear bearings

I'll bet that 12 ton does a hell of a job pressing a new Honda logo in that horn pad....
