    NOT MINE 1970 Newport FB

Clear aftermarket seat covers were, once upon a time, the thing you did to keep the cloth seats looking good. Dad had them in his Camaro. That was back before Scotchgard was invented.

vintage pics of women & cars

Is it just me, or does this 1956 Packard Predictor Concept car with "T-tops? Looks like at one time, Packard had an autoshown mule was running around. Recall about this time handwriting was on the wall for Packard. Maybe they were serious about trying something rad? Apparently so...

I'm so sorry for your loss. We just attended my nephew's wife's funeral Wednesday. So sad... 54 years old and a really great person.

    Timed or Ported Vacuum advance

I stay with ported. Find the initial timing your engine wants with vacuum gauge on manifold vacuum and a tail back timing light. Great info on Tall Johns fun shop.

Yes on 592. Remove bolt, one at a time. Clean and use thread sealer on bolts Retorque as per service manual

WANTED GAS TANK - 1970 Plymouth Custom Suburban

This is awesome! This is the first photo I've ever seen, (with how hard I'd searched online) of what the fuel tank looks like. Please let me know if you'd like to sell it with the hardware/mounting straps/ sending unit.

    Shaking!

If it was grinding before and is shaking now, I generally blame what changed in between. Perhaps, it's a driveshaft problem, like out of balance. I agree with replacing the front u-joint. I also agree that the power steering pump shouldn't cause shaking. Does the shaking increase with increase...

    Timed or Ported Vacuum advance

I agree with keeping ported advance. Manifold advance needlessly advances timing during idle. Ported advance reacts to throttle position.

1970 Fury HP Exhaust Manifolds Burn Valve Cover Paint

Really interesting video. I didn't know any of that about the new gen 3 hemis. Thanks. Dave's Auto Center Rocks! I'm going to try Rustoleum 2000°F because a member on FBBO recommended against using the paint I used alone. I had 2 others tell me I need to use a primer and a clear. If that doesn't...

Few well needed upgrades on the "High Maintenance" 70 suburban

2 years ago I put 528 inch rb with a six pack in this bad boy. The old power drums did stop it lol in a football field. Doing Wilwood on all 4 corners. Along with a new fuel system. Front brakes were straight forward going on. Ball joints screwed right out with impact gun. Lucky... I found old...

New guy needing sheetmetal help on a 62 Chrysler 300

I don't think they are experts on parts interchanges. If you told them 1962 Chrysler 300, they may have just said that they didn't have one, since they don't. I was down there last November and they told me they were ready to retire, so that may be having an effect on customer service too. I...
