2 Row Vs 3 Row Aluminum Radiator

As far as fitment, "dimensions are exact", it has both hose fittings on passenger side and has transmission cooling line fittings. All good. Not sure if your fan shroud will bolt on. Maybe some mods will get the shroud in position. Without the shroud, hard to say that the engine will be running...

    1972 Plymouth Fury 318 Survivor

Front shocks on these cars are a hard job, but I do not remove a ball joint. Front wheels should be hanging free to create the most space. Some people use an exhaust cut-off wheel to remove the exposed top of the shock stud Then the shock can be worked out of the cavity with the bottom of shock...

    Transmission problems

Is the shop going to rebuild the 727? What experience do you or your friends have with them? Reputation? I ask these questoins, because a lot of shops have no clue when it comes to older cars. What is the estimated charge to rebuild?

What is the Likelihood that Reproduction Windshields Will Happen for our Fuselage Cars?

Hi Scott, I would click the blue links for the thread names for each disagree post. Find the disagree post, and click REMOVE in the lower RH corner. However, that's up to you. Agree it would have been more helpful when the issue 1st arose rather than at this late date. Again, welcome to the...

What is the Likelihood that Reproduction Windshields Will Happen for our Fuselage Cars?

I think with this many disagrees and no posts explaining why, a moderator might step in with a note to ScottinSF and say, "If you disagree with someone it's best to leave a post on thread to say why." I'll send a PM to new member. Thanks anyway.

    Stalling Fury.

That Carter 2bbl carb is cake to rebuild. Just use an air gun to make sure all the passages are clear before reassemble.

Hemi or not to Hemi update

Hi Joe, I appreciate all the work you have done with vinyl wrap on the 72 Fury. Interior is sharp too. Looks great! I suggest calling TTI directly. TTI is the go-to for quality c-body headers. They can tell you, and then you can tell us. Also, you can use the search button at top right to find...

1972 subframe removal question - for someone who has done it

it fastens at 4 places under the body shell floor and at 2 places under the radiator support panel. The bumper fastens to the subframe via the brackets. I removed the grill and bumper as a unit before removing the subframe. You can call the tires a safety measure, but you could also call them a...

1972 subframe removal question - for someone who has done it

1970 and later isolated subframe's are mounted to the body at 6 places, 4 under the body shell and 2 under the radiator support panel. Isolators are used in all mounting positions. 1965 subframe is one year only. Engine mounts are different. 1966 through 1969 are the same. You can lift the car...

1972 subframe removal question - for someone who has done it

Jim's 1970 300 is a convertible. 1970 was final year for convertible. Also, 1st year for isolated subframe. Since it was final year of convertible, convertible subframes for 1970 are the same as earlier years. Convertibles had non-isolated subframes. To complicate matters, other...
