    Hood silencer pad.

I used this one on my 72. It is a little tight but it works. Start in the middle and work toward the edges. https://herbsparts.com/proddetail.php?prod=CHY-HIN-345

    Mind blown…

What’s that? The I have a “small pee pee” starter pack?
  4. The_Eagles’_Nest

    Mind blown…

I saw that. I was blown away by his pitiful attitude. Came across like an *******. Just calling it like I see it.

    Front Rotors needed

1973 Buick LeSabre rotors have the same dimensions and take the same bearings as Imperial, so on paper, they fit.

This is the one I tried to buy last year and the owner was a total ***. Then it showed up to Carlisle and everyone said it was not as nice as the guy had bragged about.

PIC needed, Back of Door Card 73 imperial

Here is the door under the panel. I can get a picture of the door panel later.

    Mind blown…

That is true, money talks, BS walks. Sad that the derby guys seem to be the only ones who have money, but then again they sell all the parts off the cars and don’t spend money on restorations.
  9. The_Eagles’_Nest

    Mind blown…

It’s not judging but it’s sad to see this car go to the derby.
  10. The_Eagles’_Nest

    Mind blown…

I’m disgusted. The guy told be he doesn’t care what happens to the car. Not worthy to be an Imperial owner anyway. I see it exactly like a big, comfortable Dodge Charger, it’s basically the same car under the skin- yes I know B and C are different, don’t rake me over the coals-you know what I mean.
  11. The_Eagles’_Nest

    Mind blown…

If it is the one from the ad, then I think it was originally a green car.

    Mind blown…

    Not sure
  13. The_Eagles’_Nest

    Mind blown…

Like I said, mind blown… a decent looking 72 Imperial bought but by a derby morphodite. Sad to see.

I have two Imperials waiting their turn for full restorations. I need to sell my Valiant and my Fury before I can consider any more cars.

Too bad it’s getting parted. The ABS alone makes it worth saving. I heard only 4 or 5 72 & 73s are known to still exist with ABS.

    My neighbor ruined my plans

I will restore the car eventually. It now takes the place of my mom and dad’s Econoline they bought in 1998. We had to stop driving it because it was so unsafe from rust. This is the new family road trip car.
