    Chev parts in Plymouth?

Cleaning up shop and came across this radio delete plate. It was in a 71 plymouth fury . Numbers on back only reference to a 68-72 nova and corvette. The bracket joining them looks factory. Just found it odd if it was put on at the factory

add about 4 quarts. Lift back wheels off ground. Start engine, add another 2 quarts. Once warm , foot on brake, go through gears. Once you know that park etc all lines up , let back on ground, check for leaks then add until good on dipstick.

Thanks Fury fan. You are right. The air cleaner, carb, exhaust manifolds, tranny and valve covers are all from a 69 fury. I set aside the original 383 block, 2 barrel intake, air cleaner, exhaust manifolds and single exhaust hangers. Next guy can restore to original if they want.

Need to replace trans pan gasket, maybe?

I feel for you Alrui! It is not an easy fix but can be done in car. First if small block , move distributer cap off to side so it doesnt crack when you take driveshaft and crossmember off and egine moves down at back. The extension housing has to come off as well as tranny pan and valve body...

Need to replace trans pan gasket, maybe?

There is a small o ring on a shaft that is pushed into back of tranny body. It holds the rear band in place and is covered by the rear extension housing. It can also leak from there and travel or drip.
