65 polara 4 speed- clutch rod assembly help

I'll second that, there should be nothing on the end of the rod. I've had bad luck with the replacement rubber grommets that go under the pushrod washer, they tend to deteriorate fast. A small block Chevy rocker arm ball works perfectly in it's place & never wears out. Not sure your return...

NOT MINE 1971 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe in Ann Arbor, MI (GB2, 360, 75k miles, $8k ask)

Looks like it has a lot of potential, hideaway doors and grill look good and straight. Passenger carpet looks water damaged, engine compartment looks well kept, to bad no cruise or elec windows.

    1971 Newport Muffler

I have had a bad experience with their products for my Imperial. They are nice and helpful but I would caution to beware that the fitment may not be 100%

    Correct small-block (318) engine color for 1967 C-body?

Here’s a pic of the 318 LA in the Canadian built 68 Polara I used to own. It was an early production car October 1967 if I remember right I believe the block was cast in March of that year? No clue if this is any help. But personally, I think the red looks better than blue! -Josh

65 polara 4 speed- clutch rod assembly help

I think I deciphered your request. Are you asking if there is a nut that goes on the end of the threaded rod? If yes, no there isn't a nut on the end. A spring holds the fork ahead and this keeps the rod in place.

    '66 Newport 2 Door hardtop

Well, while working on my leaky rear window problem, I decided this is a perfect time to rejuvenate my package tray. I considered buying some hardboard or Masonite, and a jigsaw, and making a new one from scratch, but then I figured my original wasn’t so bad. It just had a few broken pieces, and...

    Original Carter to Edelbrock AVS2

Everything I have been reading from Edelbrock, including online and in the manual, says to NOT connect the choke to the alternator. ran a wire to the fuse block, connecting to one of the fuses not being used (radio, in my case).

    Car lifts

They kind of get your dice in a vice. Mine was installed. Only because it came with only a 90 parts warranty if I did it. Nothing for labor. I knew if I did it, they would always blame me for installing something incorrectly even though they are not that difficult. With having them install it...
