Wrapping up what I think are the last few items here. Installed the clutch fork boot and want to verify the parts order is right here….

On the roof, the nut, washer, then insulator in the clutch fork..

Verifying there is no nut on the back????

I've never worked on that before, not sure what I'm talking about, but..
something does not look right. Does the fsm show the assy.?

I think I deciphered your request.
Are you asking if there is a nut that goes on the end of the threaded rod?
If yes, no there isn't a nut on the end. A spring holds the fork ahead and this keeps the rod in place.

I'll second that, there should be nothing on the end of the rod. I've had bad luck with the replacement rubber grommets that go under the pushrod washer, they tend to deteriorate fast. A small block Chevy rocker arm ball works perfectly in it's place & never wears out. Not sure your return spring is the right one, it should go from the fork to a slot in the bellhousing. Follow the instructions in the FSM to get your free play right.
