NOT MINE 1971 Chrysler 300 2dr on eBay (rust bucket)

Am I the only guy to have noticed this?!?!?!? @Chry300guy When you get time, post some pics of that. Make sure to take a bunch, too, you may want them in the coming years. As you may know, there were no 4-speed Fuseys, only 3-on-the-tree and then only with 318 or 383-2 barrel. (oh, and 6cyl...

Would looks like an all-original time capsule if it were wearing whitewalls. Modern-era Cooper Cobra RWLs? Not so much.

    NOT MINE 1970 Polara/Monaco (?) convertible.

Maybe people with money want to buy from a dealer so they 'know' they're getting a better car. :realcrazy:

I would think an A230 is what's in there? Driveshaft length should be same is keeping with long-tailshaft transmissions?

    NOT MINE 1970 Polara/Monaco (?) convertible.

Update - is still for sale but by a different seller from post #1, is posted on FB as of June 2, with a reduced $11k asking price. (IIRC it was orig $12 or $12, 500 with this seller) Seller notes that "the original owner put a rubber coated mat which is glued down to the trunk floor, as seen...

NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler newport 2dr manual $7,000

We have a member on here with one, it is a red '66 and IIRC a red interior. It wears small Chrysler-specific bottlecaps. Can't remember his screen-name, though...

NOT MINE 1970 N-code Fury iii convertible (formerly FK3 orange, now B5 blue)

Non-seller, in May and then in June. My opinion of this car is that, as-is, it is worth $13-15 for a drive-and-preserve toy, but too expensive for the work it would need to restore it to some justice. PM27N0D106955

NOT MINE Yellow Crossfire 'verts. How many do you want.

I think the seller is delusional that a set of sticky tires alone will make this a 215hp version into a 13-second car. I found a few 1/4-mile times and 14.6 was the lowest for the base engine, and low 13s for the SRT.

    NOT MINE 1969 Dodge Polara 383 727 - $7,500 (St. Clair Shores)

FWIW, there's a company reproducing engine bay harnesses for C-body at most-reasonable prices. They can even customize a little. EvansWiring.com : Product Catalog Glad to hear on the steering wheel, we should use A-B-E parts whenever possible, for all the years our cars were used as engine donors.

I wonder if you asked the current seller some questions, including how long they've had it, they'd skip that question.

There was a guy here in IN that had collected Chrysler TC-Maseratis and had one in every color. When he went to sell them, you could kinda tell by his FB ad that he was bat-**** crazy.

NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible in OK ($10k ask)

Looks like someone bought the Ron Francis wiring kit to fix the 'junk' Chrysler wiring and didn't finish the job. It's junk wiring now, for sure. Only the bravest of souls would gamble on this Humpty Dumpty.

I'm betting that if you really dig into the work that's already been done, you'd find you need to start over with a different car. Like looking at a house to buy and then seeing the basement is comprised of blocks, rocks and paver blocks.

So did they take the jackstands out on the grass, knowing they would be useless there, or did they learn that during??? The interior on this one, what we can see, looks to be a real selling feature. Seats look like the vinyl might still be soft. Looks like a good price on this one. It's...

While I understand/support not posting or pursuing a car if a member is known to already be on it, we shouldn't NOT post a car just because there's a possibility a member might be pursuing it. If we did follow that reasoning, we would never post anything.

I'm not a construction engineer but this setup looks sketchy. Half the supports up to the roof are perched midway between the columns, and that steel looks like it is 4", although it might be 6". It's hard to tell if it was a barn that got chopped up and skinned in metal, or a metal building...
