    1966 Polara

I've had the car for almost twenty years, and know it well. I made a simple mistake, and learned from it. I'd be comfortable leaving the gauges as they are, after a new radiator, but I will install a temp gauge. I still had fun this past weekend, after all, it's just an old car, and I got to...

    1966 Polara

The Polara is at @71Polara383's shop, the tow was cheaper than the previous one, and went thirty-some miles further. I'm back at home. A major shout out to @King Hooter for the ride home, I'm glad you came out to the show, and congratulations on your award at the Fox Lake show! Plans are in...

    1966 Polara

A new radiator will be ordered, I was running a Jegs universal unit that didn't fit properly, had gaps on the top and bottom, and had side tanks. It did fine up until the wrong coolant was added. It looks like it came out the side where the tank meets the rows. The lower front of the engine was...

    1966 Polara

It was noticed that my lower radiator hose had a leak. Just a pinhole, but I felt it better to swap hoses while at a shop, so @King Hooter was kind enough to drive to the O'Reilly's hub that had them in stock. I made the tragic mistake of putting a dexcool type antifreeze in. I stopped for gas...

    1966 Polara

I stopped in Albert Lea and met up with @King Hooter and his '81 Imperial. Fueling up outside of Waterloo, IA We made the trip with no issues other than some heavy rain in Iowa.

    1966 Polara

Been a minute since I had the car out. It remained parked in 2022 after I got the Monaco wagon home a month later in October. After that cars unfortunate failure earlier this year, I decided to drive the Polara. It fired up after three cranks, with the same battery still hooked up, and the same...

    Name that girl

I got her with the clues provided. I saw her in the show, but I was just a wee kid that was more impressed with the show that aired before it.

    8th Annual C Body Show - June 22nd

Tim, I'm super bummed I couldn't make the show, but the car gods weren't smiling down upon me. My radiator bit the dust while on the way to my hotel. I didn't know until it was too late. The engine is toast, and I'll be towing it home to sit with my other dead cars. At least we got to hang out...

NOT MINE 1973 Dodge Monaco wagon - $26,500 (Laguna Beach)

My neighbor drove his '32 Model A Ford with rumble seat as a daily in warm weather, and he and his wife drove their '57 Bel Air quite often. His son drove his '65 Malibu clone all the time. Keep making excuses. :poke:

    C-Body Wheel and Tire Survey

I do too, but the 40+ year old tires I've been riding on for at least a decade, seemed a bit grumpy so I needed something in a snap, and these popped up for a fair price. I'm probably going to get a set of 15" slots down the road.
