Yeah, all true. The rust is evidencing itself, from what we can see, in the "problematic" spots. Hard to remediate with metal (need access to/must be skilled with metal repair), and usually more extensive than one thinks until you get into it. Still, nice, rare sled. Wish seller all the best...

Yeah I worded that a little fuctly. Original black car - I dyed top black. Top was green. Just another black & green '71 coupe! ;) Also, I sorry for my sins of putting wide whites on a '60s/'70s car. They were all out of 2 inch wide white walls at the time.

That makes sense. I guess that is why there is no evidence of turquoise paint.
