    What makes an engine “buck?”

Agree completely, lean usually will be a surge feel. If it's actually bucking that's more likely to be an ignition related misfire.

78 New Yorker. climate control switches & Window electrical issues

Ok, then I would primarily recommend going through ATC diagnostics in service manual. There might be only simple bug to disable the whole system - such as vacuum leak. There's a master vacuum switch for the blower motor. If it is not getting vacuum, there's no blower. Vacuum also goes through...

NOT MINE 1973 Newport $1000 North Ohio

I actually do think I remember seeing that car for sale, maybe a year ago or something. Back then it had all its hubcaps and wasn't surrounded by garbage. I have a feeling that with a weekend's worth of detailing, and a roller full of Rust-Oleum for the roof, one could make a pretty presentable...

    Fuel sending unit filter

If you’ve got your fuel sending unit out of the tank for any reason, it’s always a good time to change the filter. I found this one on Amazon for about $15 and it’s a perfect match to what came out of the car. Hope this is helpful to some of you. It originally fits Ford vehicles of the 60s and...

NOT MINE 1973 Newport $1000 North Ohio

not a good enough look, but a first glance, that one could easily stand tall again, relatively speaking. and, acquisition price is NOT a nad-breaker. hope it finds a good home.

383 +30 anyone know how big a exhaust I can put in before I have to clearance the deck?

Throw a 1.80" exhaust valve in with new seats and be done. You are overthinking this. They went to the larger size exhaust valve in later year heads and they didn't require anything special.

    68 New Yorker headers?

That’s understandable, Well In my case I can’t afford a A or B body as I work check to check ,so I settled with my New Yorker. In fact I cashed out on vacation time to get parts for this car. Not everyone has the funds or time to factory restore a car or even a shop to work in, I work in the...

Possibly has a cold weather '230' block. Might be too late production but worth a look if local.

At $1k, the new parts alone may make it worth the deal. No photo of the engine bay.

I have a feeling this was much nicer before Brandon owned it. There may be time to save it. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1269967504008616/?mibextid=dXMIcH

For Sale NOS 1968 Fury Right Fender - $500

I think that the photos speak for themselves. A few minor, shallow dents, and a bent corner, where the fender meets the door and cowl. That area is the only area that has some rust. I should be able to bring it to Carlisle. PM me if interested.
