    69 300 rear noise

If it's a rear wheel bearing, when you load that side of the car, as in swaying it side to side, the noise will be louder when loaded and quieter when unloaded. If you're going to do one bearing, might as well pull the other axle shaft out and LUBE that side too. Then also put new lube in the...

    69 300 rear noise

Usually the wining noise of a wheel bearing starting to fail, wiil be noticeable at certain speeds. And in some cases gets louder when cornering. When the sound is coming from your dif, I would assume it is noticeable at all speeds.

    New interior

Unfortunately, you are in "The World of Mopar", things which fit the popular-restoration B and C-body cars tend to be more plentiful as there were many more of them built and they are "desired" and bring lots of money when correctly restored at the major auctions. Anything else? You learn to...

WANTED Looking for a bendix booster for disc/drum setup.

What makes you think you can use a drum brake booster? From my research, disc brakes need twice as much boost as do drum brakes. Hence the dual diaphragm.

    69 300 rear noise

I need some thoughts. I have the sure grip 8 3/4, 2.76 rear. On the road I have a noise from the rear of car. Jacked up and running in low, I have no noise. I put a pipe on the diff and the axle bearing housing and it all sounds smooth with no clicks or roughness. I tried listening on turns...

1970 Plymouth Sport Fury V10 Swap Build Thread

So the rust on the roof was really bugging me because a few spots were close to rusting through and one spot was. I also hated the look of the roof seams. So I sanded the roof down and started filling the roof seams. I first used fiberglass and if it needs it I will skim coat with some mud. I’m...

WANTED Looking for a bendix booster for disc/drum setup.

I think so, can you post a pic of it? Can you confirm if your imperial is a disc brake car, otherwise if its power drums I cannot use it. I know there are differences between imperials disc spindles rotors and calipers but the boosters should be the same.

NOT MINE 1969 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron - 2 Door Coupe - $5,000 (Jefferson Park)

YM23K9C283777 This is a cream puff! Looks like an easy car to get back on the road. Title really hurts the purchase of the car. Especially from Chicago. This car has been in storage since 1980. I recently bought 2 cars from an 85yo man and this is what he told me about the cars - his...

NOT MINE 1969 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron - 2 Door Coupe - $5,000 (Jefferson Park)

That's not gonna last long. I'm really curious as to what the other car he bought with this one was, given that this is the one he chose not to keep, the other one must be even more desirable. Does anyone know if these cars came from the factory with the plastic splash guard behind the valance...
