14:10 he discusses the logo. Very cool trucks! Also the '70 300 at the end he claims belonged to David Allan Coe.

    NOT MINE 1972 LTD $10k

ok, here are a couple more that I took yesterday....given the interest, haha. The trunk lid is flucked. Repaint, and I doubt this is an OEM color. The entire body is relatively straight, but lots of dings and waviness all over. It's a 30-footer.

    NOT MINE 1967 , 1959, 1962 Chrysler Imperials at Copart .

Engine Start Program At the time the vehicle arrived at Copart's facility, Copart verified that the vehicle (i) started, and (ii) ran at idle. There is no guarantee, representation, or warranty that the vehicle will (i) start or (ii) run at idle at the time the vehicle is picked up at Copart's...

    NOT MINE 1972 LTD $10k

Just in case anybody likes a full size Phord ..... $10K o.b.o. This one just popped up for sale in my town, at Certified Auto (across from NAPA). I think it belongs to one of the mechanics at the shop there. It needs TLC, he leaves the windows down most of the time and the interior is very...

NOT MINE 1971 Chrysler new yorker Salon Sedan 4D $19,500

Most are blacked out, but I see an inspection mark on the RH side. Perhaps the rattle can guy near the end of the line was on his smoke break when this one rolled by.... Looks like MN collector car plates. Need a closeup of the gas pedal and driver seat to verify mileage. Close inspection of...

I was advised not to sell my '61

Unless it was a boat, I have never heard anyone say "Man, I'm glad I sold that thing years ago when I was young".

NOT MINE 1970 Dodge Polara Convertible in Good Condition For Sale - NOT MINE

Listing ended. Snake in the grass seller..... I like the random meaningless stickers placed everywhere. "Octane lighting", lol. Missing the wing nut. There's your bargaining chip. Also, they went real heavy with the oil/wax spray over everything in here, a total Gateway move and pet...

    Stains on crank

Probably so...vendor's marks or builder's scribbles. Look for writing on the crank too, to see if it's been ground. Usually on a front counterweight.

Right tools for the job! Rebuilt my front upper and lower control arms.

That makes sense too. Smacking = stretching = no more press fit.

Right tools for the job! Rebuilt my front upper and lower control arms.

This is just a guess....but....Perhaps so that you don't damage the bushing by pressing out the inner sleeve while the shaft is pressing in. If you're pressing the shaft into the bushing first, the bushing has backing on the other end so it remains intact. I would think that forces applied on...

NOT MINE 1967 Plymouth VIP 2-door, 10K Actual Miles, $40k, near LA California

Did this apply to the more blatantly badge engineered vehicles of the later 60s, 70s and 80s? For example did the Plymouth Horizon cost less than the Dodge Omni? Plymouth Volare / Dodge Aspen.... Ford Falcon/Maverick/Granada / Mercury Comet/Monarch... I'm out....

NOT MINE 1967 Plymouth VIP 2-door, 10K Actual Miles, $40k, near LA California

Charles Phoenix has great camera work. Captures every angle of the car and with the car moving in various positions. No shaking. Makes you feel like you're right there, I can even smell that vinyl and cloth interior through the screen.

    The weaponization of the DMV

Update: 1/10/26 - Paperwork returned to me for the 4th time. They have dropped all of the previous requests and just want another $300 this time. Despite having paid $281 extra last fall, and $1900 back in '22, the previous $700 they wanted back in December has been reduced to $300 for...
