old and new Thermostat tests with questions

I decided to replace my thermostat, bought a new one (on the right in the pictures) but did not have the gasket sealer. So, to fill my time I decided to see how well the old thermostat operated compared to the new by placing them both in a pot of 188 degree (see pic) water. The old thermostat...

    mini starter fit issue

The battery cable insulator hits the 440 engine block and prevents the mini starter from being installed correctly. See pics. the starter is crooked. Anyone have this issue before. My solution is to rebuild the starter I removed unless someone has a better idea.

1970 NEW YORKER DRIVER BUILD PROJECT- BEFORE / CURRENT BUILD PICS

Hi Everyone, I'd like to share some pics of my car before any real work is done. Today I'm getting a new exhaust system installed, going for a very quiet H pipe set up. It still has trouble starting, but it is drivable and has a high idle. The plan is to do the mechanical work first, then the...

Ever wonder who designs car dealerships?

Nerds like me. I'm putting together my portfolio (job hunting now) and came across these sketches I did when I was working for a design firm in Ohio. Being Mopar fans, I thought you might get a kick out of these early concept sketches for car dealerships. I think they were actually built, but...

Hi Everyone, The show was my first and a total blast. Tim did a great job organizing this thing and I am sure next year will be even better. I'll be posting photos in small batches due to the limitations of the site tools. The first few are of the cars arriving, then I'll load pics of the...
