    New Member, New Polara

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but the 383-2 numbers are in line with my '66 Polara before I swapped converters.

    NOT MINE 1970 Polara convertible.

Apparently, it's not the perfect car for Dave.

    Urban deer

The biggest deer I've ever seen was in the suburb I grew up in. My sister had talked about him a few years prior. He was a big, fat, well fed deer that I swear had twenty points, he did have a giant rack. It was the reason I decided to start hunting. They hired sharpshooters for yearly thinning...

    mini starter fit issue

Take the black plastic piece off, it's meant for a small block. If it still hits after that's removed, there's an adapter that's on eBay for like $16.00.

I disagree, but it's a personal taste. I love a rake on a car, always have and always will. I saw too many of them growing up in the early 80's, and it stuck with me.

Maybe she will feel better knowing the the story is loosely based off the world in the comic book The Preacher. But I doubt it.

    Build sheet question

A block heater is in the block. That inline hose heater was sold in an auto parts store. We still had those on the shelf in the late 90's at the store I worked at.

Leaf spring differences for 68 C-bodies and maybe other years. Soft to Firm.

I'll be putting a set from a Monaco 500 in my Polara 500, you can tell the difference between the two springs.
