@Big_John I got nothing, other than good used or those Ford fuel pump terminals.
A quick 1 minute soak in a white vinegar / salt solution, followed by a baking soda / water solution should clean the originals quite nicely. I would then solder the terminals to the original wiring.
And those...
I remember doing inventory at both Stanley Motors, and Iversen back in the .......early 90s. Stanley was in the old location, with a treasure trove of NOS parts in a separate second story "loft". I traded obsolete parts with the parts manager (I worked parts at a Chove-it-or-leave-it-ley dealer)...
On most MoPars it leaves the headlight switch on the terminal marked "I" (instruments), almost always an orange wire. Follow that through your harness to the cluster. It may even have a factory splice in your harness somewhere. Take a good look at your wiring diagram to be sure.
By saying "dimmer module" are you referring to the headlight switch? If so, get out your power test lamp and check to see if you have power to terminal "B2" on the headlight switch. It SHOULD be hot at all times.
Works on both AM and FM
Nice clean unit. Very nice chrome and face.
I have made no attempt to freshen it up as it works fine.
These pre-1970 (?) factory radios are mono, not stereo.
$350 plus the ride.
PM if interested.
Thanks!
Sounds like the breaker inside the switch is doing its job.
Make sure the switch has a good ground (tighten the switch screws, if needed)
@CBODY67 has some good info. Motor, wiring, bulkhead connections.
I agree. I see on feeBay guys selling JUST THE BOX! I'm pretty sure an "NOS" switch is going into it.
And "Time Waster" (AKA Facebook) has gotten to be a scammers mecca, with little to no oversight.
The black wire is power in (probably from the plastic push button switch).
Black to brown is low
Black to green is high
I have a 2587564, NOS MoPar, if you are still looking.
Do you have 2 or 3 speed wipers? A pic of the wiper motor will tell us.
And am I to understand that when you flip the switch to "off" the wiper arms park but don't go down enough? Have they ever gone down all the way since owning the car?
