Very good suggestion, Jeff. Easy mistake to make. It seems "normal" to most folks to get everything back in place, with the arms hanging down, and tighten those shaft nuts. Even when you read the FSM it's not at all clear the reason for having full weight on the tires when you tighten 'em.

It is bizarre to me that someone will go to all that trouble to clone a 'vert into a Hurst, of which there are exactly ZERO J99 'verts produced. [The famous Linda car is a normal CM27/Q 300 'vert.] It seems like so much work to build such a car. And why. For that matter, where do the hood...

We have 63 "J99XXX" cars to date. These are the cars I consider to be "true Hursts". This excludes the Prototype car and the Linda car, which are not J99 cars. I have a list of about 275 Hurst VINs (a little over half the total production), but with no other data such as J numbers or door...

We have two new additions to the Registry, thanks to the sharp eyes of @Lycidias. He tried to get the Door Sticker date for 235899 from the seller, but unfortunately they did not respond to his inquiry. It remains the "newest" Hurst in the Registry. Both of these new listings are in Europe...
