This week I just finished putting in my dash pad that Bob at ABCmoparts did for me. Came out beautiful.

I went with the dual voice coil speakers from Retro Sound for the front and rear speakers. The sound was good, factory sizes, and they have a low profile so fitting in the factory locations was not an issue. I got them, a AM/FM CD head unit, and a under the dash box from Crutchfield.

I got mine from rock auto. It is the same ACC carpet that legendary and everyone else sells and was about 1/2 the price. I went with the carpet with the Mass backing. It was tougher to cut and work with, but it is much firmer and fit the floor great.

I was away last week for work and got home to having to shovel and pull tree branches off my roof. Just finished sawing the rest of the tree limbs tonight. Tomorrow morning I start pulling the interior out.

Looks nice. I ordered my Legendary covers from Dante's also. Got them in last week, but haven't opened the box yet. You will have to post some pictures once they are installed.

I agree, it is an easy enough thing to change. I keep both with me in the trunk. I am always amazed how everyone is always an authority on your car. Over the years I have had several cars that was told were incorrect or they never built, until I showed them the build sheet.

I have the same one on my 68 Fury. I was told by a few people at Carlisle that it was incorrect and I should have the padded one. But I have been looking; and have seen the same one on a number of 68 cars. I have the padded one on it now, but am starting to second guess if the chrome one was...

I was wondering the same thing. The paint chips off, and is very thick. I wasn't sure it it was just pitted. If it is the case, I could probably just strip it down and repaint it.

Here is a picture of it. When I bought the car, the belts had been buried in the seats for years. I just got my new upholstery and carpers in today and wanted to do something with the seat belts while I have the interior out.
