    My wife's 67 Newport Custom

Not being morbid, but I'm curious as to the details involved and how the media covered it. Do you have a link to the story?

    What is your daily driver?

2014 Chrysler T&C 90k 2003 Lincoln TC 103k 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood 169k I couldn't make a meaningful complaint about any of them. All purchased used, never done more than maintence work. I am astounded that people have so many problems with cars and have things like "payments".

1968 Chrysler 300 tail panel color & other trivia FYI

Ivory/green was not common, but not all that rare either. I think it's one of the best things you can do with a green interior.

    65 Fury - Heater Delete?

After a certain date, perhaps 1969, a defroster was required. But I have also seen Heater delete on 70s A-bodies sent to Hawaii.

Best method of Pulling the engine in my 67 newport

You're doing the Lord's work to mention this. I remember giving the same advice and was told that I was a crazy cat-lady, that could never happen, etc. Yet it does happen. It can also be done this way.

    Chryco Crown Tires

Chryco was the name for Canadian service parts. For some reason they didn't use "Mopar" up there until much later. BTW, you have to burn that tire or drill holes around the circumfrence and bury it. Someone could mount it, drive on it and kill a school bus full of orphans.

I'm bracing for flogging and the flame... Dumb questions...

Have fun explaning that to an insurance company and/or a lawyer. You'll beg to go back in time and pay $5 a mile.

I'm bracing for flogging and the flame... Dumb questions...

If they had lasted long enough to get the LY upgrades of 2011, I'd be in. Doing that is possible, but the work required isn't worth it for picking up a small amount of cargo space.

There is a lot of photoshop help on that 1/4... 5 seconds with a "stretch" tool would equal 100 hours of welding and blocking...

I'm bracing for flogging and the flame... Dumb questions...

AFGWG, To give you a benefit of the doubt, I believe C-body owners, more than perhaps any other "niche" of auto enthusiasts, use our cars for their intended purpose. That's probably why we're as offended at the idea of just swapping things around FFS. While you'll find other Mopar people (and...

Boo hoo snowflake. You're the one who said you were ready to get flamed and that it was a dumb question. Now I'm supposed to second-guess whatever you write?

I'm bracing for flogging and the flame... Dumb questions...

Technically, it's not and my example is a lot closer to reality. Your Glock example is an exchange of parts without metalwork, and your C-body example (beyond the obvious differences in body lines which would inhibit things like doors opening, etc.) moves far from "plug 'n play". The...

I'll try and answer in a way you might understand based on your username... Dear firearms forum: I'm new to gunz and was wondering what it would take to fire a. 45 round through a 9mm barrel? I notice that many 9mm barrels have enough excess metal to accept a .452 bore and I have a really good...

    Electronic ignition conversions

For the record, the ignition kit used on my '78 Salon came with a "blue" box that had no provision for the connector's center screw (very necessary). I was told it was a Mopar kit. It also had a press-fit distributor shaft that failed in likely less than 500 miles. It cost the owner $400 OTD...
