Ross is right. They are GM produced. I haven't removed one completely but merely tore one apart. Never again. There are bigger things to worry about on these cars than the damn shifter. But that's just me. Worst case, drive the pin out from the column shift arm, and remove the linkage and be done.

The little stud coming off the sunvisor that hooks into the rear view mirror slot....has anyone found a place to buy these? 71 Yorker. And how the hell do they come off? Mine have deteriorated due to the baking sun.

My 71 is a butyl rubber seal to the window channel, no rubber gasket of any sort back there. Maybe try getting another quote. My rear glass install was 120 bucks (I paid for the back glass separately).

Where is the water entering the vehicle? Trunk? If so, look up under the window channel with a flash light and look for wet areas.

It looks like you're resurrecting the holes for the panel clips?
