    Mystery AC compressor?

    For leak testing, I would say to use a UV dye in the system (although if it's empty, you'd probably have to charge it with freon anyways to have it circulate properly...I'm not actually sure about that part). But I've bought cans of R-12 on eBay so I don't think you would have an issue finding...

    69 Chrysler 300 overflow tank

    My 68 Newport but it was obviously an add-on as both of the screws don't match and it's on an angle instead of mounted straight. Still better than letting it vent on the ground, in any case. Don't know which owner added it.

    Can you ID this AC compressor and brackets?

    Definitely looks like a 68 assembly, my Newport has factory A/C - the bracket here looks the same as mine. If you asked me, I can understand why they made it so firm, but at the same time, it does seem a bit excessive to have so many brackets...
