Just clean them.. Take 'em apart, clean all the old grease and scum out,, clean the armature and the brushes... The new grease and put back together.. Take LOTS of pics as you disassemble so you know how goes back together... They will probably work better than the new r4eplacement types ..... .

If you ever see a Hemi or 6-pak with A/C most assuredly the A/C was added after customer delivery.... This "argument" has been around for ages and with every " I know for a fact it happened" has been so totally debunked it it is silly for anyone to even try to make the claim ... .

When you are driving at any recordable speed and windows are up there is positive air pressure in cabin... When you open any window it allows air to be sucked out creating a negative pressure in the cabin... Now couple that to more than likely the trunk seal is old and worn and allows fumes...

The choke on that carb is being held in an open position by that rod.. And,, that carb is not original to the car...

They are asking for a 3000$ bond.. They did not ask for 3000$ to bond it... You only pay fee for the bond, usually a small percent usually thru a bonding company... If you wish to bond it yourself and they allow for self bonding ,, then yes,, you would pay the 3000$..
