Guys, back when I got my '68 Newport I installed a 90 amp Powermaster alternator with an adjustable solid state voltage regulator. Krautmaster had already ran a charge lead to the starter relay, and bypassed the ammeter. All this works fine. What puzzles me now is if the 90 amp will keep up...

This is the fan and controller I have and will be installing. Fan is rated at 600w and can draw a peak of 50 amps. This is why I want 1/0 battery cables. I appreciate you measuring your old cable for me.

Does anyone out there have a factory or reproduction positive battery cable for a '67 or '68 Newport? If so, can I impose upon you to measure it's length, and the length of the leads coming off of the cable? Also, a picture of it stretched out, please? I want to get one custom made out of 1/0...

Holley offers and LED headlight set for the four light system. Not cheap, but they are quality. I’d run them if I wasn’t already set up with Hellas.

Little update since I did the tachometer and straightened how it sits. Again these are not as bright in person, especially the heater button pics.

I used the second version and removed the factory lenses.

He made me a custom harness for the Newport so I could run 100w high beams as it has 10 gauge power leads and grounds. It truly was plug and play.

Hella Bi-Focal low beams with LED city light bulbs that I installed in the sockets they come with, and Hella H1 high beams with 100W lamps. Sourced the lights from Mr. Stern.

Converted my '68 to a later style rooster comb and the combined neutral safety/backup light switch later Mopars use. My pin was missing and I couldn't find another one so this was easier.

This switch doesnt feel right, I can't feel the detent you're supposed to feel when you use the dimmer to turn them on.

Looks like I need a dimmer switch

I noticed I coudln't feel a notch signifying I'd turned the lights on using the dimmer switch, so I thought it wasn't done that way. I never use the dimmer anyway since I converted to LED. Figured if it's not messed with, it can't go bad?

Map light on the convertible won't shut off all of a sudden, and it's keeping the rear courtesy lights on too. The map light switch doesn't feel right, like something is broken inside. Anyone have an experience fixing these? I never noticed until now, but will turning the map light on also...

If he doesnt need them I would be interested in them.
