    front brakes won't bleed

You cracked the rears and the valve wouldn't move? Try wrapping " carefully" on the side of the valve, when it's being pushed in, should move

    ABS/Traction Control?

Don't know why I typed dnr... Yes, meant activate them on gravel, getting a scan tool is better tho

    ABS/Traction Control?

It's just been my experience that air slips in there, especially on newer silverados, those are a nightmare Take it out to some loose safe gravel, dnr get it to kick on, then re bleed. Or take it in, that's your choice

    ABS/Traction Control?

There are valves that are actuated by solenoids when abs is applied. They don't move otherwise. Air gets up to the valve, and them gets trapped. Could have a bad abs unit, but doubtful

    ABS/Traction Control?

Id guess there has to be air in the abs unit. Either run it with a scan tool, or get it to activate on gravel, then bleed all wheels. Repeat 2-3 times if needed

    ABS/Traction Control?

Lots of times, you have a bleed process that involves running the pump with a scan tool, does it mention that?

    Quick idler arm question

It must not be seated in the drag link. It's cone shaped. Sometimes a c clamp or a jack can push the stud deeper into the hole to "grab" and not turn

Has anyone used a Muscle Car Brakes drum kit on a C-body?

Could they just buy cheap shoes and reline them?

    Brake proportioning valve

I swear someone posted a "poor man's" dual master cylinder upgrade, using a simple distribution block, and people chimed in saying you'll need a proportioning valve, otherwise rears will lock up

    Brake proportioning valve

Interesting...I always thought they were proportioning valves.. learn something every day! Just like newer ford oil pressure gauges are just off/on, they don't represent actual oil pressure!
