Thanks for the explanation. I do know what malt is and that is what confused me. I only knew of it as an ingredient in beer, whisky and bread. In recent years diners inspired by 1950's USA have been popping up over here. Most serve milk shakes and some serve floats, but I had never seen "malts".

Please excuse my ignorance, but what are "malts"? a lot of the places seems to advertise "malts" and even "giant malts". Most of those signs and buildings are a lot more bold and interesting than over here!

These years american style 50's inspired diners are becoming a thing here in Denmark. We went to the local (very successful) one to exchange pumpkins for milkshakes. I thought it made some nice pictures in the dark. Managed to park next to another mopar.
