    You be the judge.

okay. i was under the assumption that the engine was fresh and that it had been hot tanked. running it on the road is good proof. with any normal system, fans aren't necessary at road speed. my opinion, the best fan is a seven blade solid mount with a shroud.

looks like the radiator is taking the heat out of the coolant. if the air coming off the cooling fans is hot, then that's where the heat is going. if you could run it with the radiator cap off, you could watch the coolant flow.

    Fan roar

yeah but it's the opposite of what you experienced. usually starts out roaring. when the fluid inside gets distributed it settles down.

flat flexible stainless steel rod. goes down the tubes of the core. i worked for a shop that did this work. had it done to the radiator in my '69. like night and day. next, look up solder bloom.

thermal cameras work great for finding hot spots. you'll know just how well that radiator flush went. open the radiator cap and see if you can see the radiator core. if there is solder bloom at the ends of the passages, flushing won't remove it. the radiator would have to be disassembled and...

i'll ask you this, does the heater core act as a by-pass on his engine? i see that it's an Arizona car. maybe the core's not hooked up but needs to be.

    Radiator Overheat.

we actually don't know yet what type of system this is. both types are available with serp. belts. single belt is reverse, multiple belt normal. even if the pump is reverse rotation, the housing accounts for it and the coolant flows normally.

    Radiator Overheat.

if the flat side of the belt turns the water pump it spins reverse of the factory pump. reverse pump might require a special housing. easy enough to check.

    Radiator Overheat.

if the back side of the belt turns the water pump, the pump is turning backwards.

leaking. that occured to me during the day. that the flange of the thermostat might not be seated properly or the gasket could be too thick keeping the water neck from forcing the flange into its seat the coolant is flowing so something is wrong there. keep in mind that the heater core...

    Engine running too cold XD

open the radiator cap and see if the coolant is flowing. if it is, your tstat is open. want to know if it works? drop in a pan of water on the stove with an appropriate thermometer. if it opens crooked, it's likely going to hang up. thermostats today are junk. they should sell them by the...
