I also watched it @JPMODL listed it for 8500$ last year. Now the highbid reached that mark, I hope the bidder is serious about it and not just a jerk bidding for fun and not paying

This auction just ended a minute ago.
The price literally jumped in the last second from US $5,555 to $8,600!

While that Sport Fury has a lot going for it, I would not have predicted a price near the highest bid he received for a 4 door, but very glad to see it!

What the result says to me is that nice examples of these fuselage cars in the best colors are still worth a fair sum, especially if they are well sorted out. This car didn't have power windows and the mileage was reasonably low, but not very low, so that is also a good sign.
